Breakfast with Angeli and Maxino

It is Saturday morning. Welcome to the Grigio's cosy little kitchen. Mrs. Grigio, Angeli and Maxino's mother, has already gone to work this morning. She works at the hotel, as a waitress. Before she left, she prepared a wonderful breakfast for her two kittens. Let's hope they get up soon, or their eggs and pancakes will get cold!

Mrs. Grigio has also made them hot chocolate and two delicious croissants. Yummy!

There they are! The kittens have already showered and dressed themselves. They cannot enter the kitchen fast enough. Such wonderful smells are luring them to the kitchen table.

"Oh yum, yum, YUM!", exclaims Maxino as he sits down on his chair.

"Mommy is the greatest. I just wish she didn't have to go to work on Saturdays, so we could have breakfast together."

"I agree", says Angeli. "But now let's enjoy our breakfast, even if it's just the two of us. I am sooo hungry this morning, that I'll eat this entire plate of food and the croissant and then I'll even have that banana!"

"You're like the very hungry caterpillar today, Angeli!" laughs Maxino. "Oh yes I am", agrees his sister with a mouth full of food. "How is the hot cocoa?" she asks. "Delicious!" purrs Maxino.

"My pancake tasted great! You should try yours."

"You're such a fast eater today!" laughs Maxino.

After finishing his egg and pancake, he gets up to toast a piece of bread.

"Wait up!" says Angeli. "I want to see how our new toaster works! Mom said it has some sort of special effect."

"It's really cool, Angeli. Watch this. First you open the lid."

"Then you lay the piece of bread inside the toaster."

"Then you close the lid..."

 "...and you wait."

"After a minute the lid pops open..."

"...and there's a face on your toast!"
"Wow!" exclaims Angeli. "That is sooo cool!

The two kittens sit down at the table again and continue with their breakfast.

Angeli eats a banana while Maxino enjoys his toast.

"So, what are we going to do today, Max?"

"Well," says Maxino, while they finish their breakfast,
"I thought we could go to the opening of Julie's new shop!"

"That's a great idea, Max. I'd really love to go."

The siblings clear the table.

"Did you know that every visitor at the opening gets a free present?"
"Nope. Sounds great!"

"Look Max, I've eaten so much, that my tummy is sticking out like a watermelon!"
"Haha!" laughs Maxino. "You look like Mommy does on that photo, when she was still carrying us inside her belly!"

Angeli giggles. "Let's write a note for Mommy, so she knows where we have gone." "Sure," says Maxino, and the two get ready to leave the house.

Contest Nr. 1 !

Dear Readers,

Thank you very much for following my blog !  As a little thank you to everyone, Tamara and I are organizing a contest.

The winner will receive a cute little miniature toolbox, just like the one James is using to renovate Julie's shop.

It contains eight awsome tools for your Sylvanians.

What we would like you to do, is:

1.  Show us what YOUR Sylvanians would do, if they owned such a toolbox!
You can write a text (a short story, poem, etc.), or draw or paint a picture, or make a photo of your Sylvanians, or create something from paper, clay, fabric, etc. It's really up to you, which technique you use, as long as you explain to us what your Sylvanians would do if they had the toolbox. :-)

2. Then, simply send us your text, photo, or a picture of your artwork to the email given in my profile. Don't forget to include your name and country.

Please only send  original texts/artwork written or made by YOU for this occasion! :-)

The deadline for sending us your entries is April 22nd

The winner will be announced on May 1st.

He or she will receive this delightful toolbox and his or her text or photo will be published on my blog!

You may contact me via email if you have any questions. :-)

Thank you all for your participation! :-)
